Can I go shopping and sight seeing?

Yes we provide a complimentary shuttle bus to take you to Ubud to visit the many art galleries, shops and cafes.

Do I need a visa to fly into Bali?

Yes you do. You can get a visa on arrival at the airport for $US25 for one month.
Allow at least 6 months on your passport as the Indonesian Immigration will not permit you to enter the country.

What other activities are available?

  • Balinese cooking class with trip to the market to select fresh vegetables to cook for lunch
  • 3hr scenic bike ride from Mt Batur to Ubud
  • White Water rafting
  • Day Spa available with a wonderful range of treatments.

Do I need to bring my own yoga mat?

Yes you do but we can supply a yoga mat if you prefer not to travel with one. All yoga equipment is supplied ie. new blankets, straps, bolsters and blocks provided.

What type of food is provided ie. raw, vegan, protein included?

The restaurant serves an excellent range of vegetarian, raw food and Indonesian cuisines. The resort has a large in ground swimming pool, day spa, gym and 24 hour room service. Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner is included in the retreat price.

What’s included in the Bali Anahata Luxury retreat package?

The accommodation is in luxury villas with 3 floors, with the master suite located on the top floor. Living room, dining room and kitchenette on the second floor with 2 guest bedrooms with separate bathrooms adjoining each bedroom on the ground floor. Each villa has a private plunge pool and garden.

What time can I check in and check out?

From 2pm onwards.
On Day 1 we meet at 5pm for an informal introduction then gather for a delicious welcome dinner. The next morning Yoga and meditation starts at 6.45am-9.00am. We close the retreat at 11am on the last day and late check out can be requested.

We provide a buffet style for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
A fusion of western and Indonesian cusine with daily fresh juices and smoothies, fruit and raw food.

How do get to the retreat?

Fly to Denpasar and we arrange for your transfer to the retreat and back or to another hotel if you are staying longer.
We can arrange transfers to Seminyak, Canggu, Pettitenget, Umalas and Kuta. If you require transfers from other areas you will need to allow extra cost for driver.

What’s included the Bali Joyful Spirit retreat package?

You will experience a 6 day 5 night yoga and wellbeing retreat package in Bali. A yoga retreat that is set amongst a peaceful Balinese village with serene gardens and rice paddies surrounding the retreat. The accommodation is 2 storey Lubmungs which are traditional rice houses with one room upstairs and another larger room downstairs. Both rooms can be either single or twin share accommodation. The bottom room is our Deluxe accommodation which has a bath and balcony. The upstairs room doesn’t include a bath or balcony.

Twice daily yoga and meditation lessons, Yoga Nidra (deep relaxation), delicious fusion of healthy and Indonesian cuisine with all meals provided except one dinner where you go out into Ubud to dine. Balinese Cultural activities, a complimentary 1hr massage and optional spa treatments, white water rafting and bike tour and more. Excludes one dinner to allow guests to experience one of Bali’s fine restaurants.
